Storage and distribution is a fast moving highly skilled discipline within the logistics industry. The Bond Group operates over 250,000 square feet of warehousing, strategically located throughout the UK and Europe, with a huge variety of storage options. Facilities range from standard block stacking to narrow aisle, and high bay racking.

A major expansion of warehousing is planned within the Stoke region within a short period of time.

Each warehouse is serviced by a range of the very latest equipment, including articulated and 'man-up' fork lift trucks for the rapid movement of goods. Use of sophisticated stock management and tracking systems that are able to identify the exact storage location by bay & line number, ensure stored products are always quickly available. Customers can access their stock levels in real time via electronic communication.

There are a variety of long or short-term rental and leasing options offering customers maximum flexibility. The Bond Group can provide warehouse facilities for 1 item upwards as well as management on a customer's own site, by providing fully trained staff, up-to-date equipment and experience in storage and distribution operations.

Logistics

Collection and delivery is the core function of The Bond Group Logistics team. Bond operates 364 days a year throughout the UK and has the ability to also service Europe

Bond is capable of transporting a diverse range of products from heavy plant & large remote cabinets, through to integral refrigeration cases & parts. The Bond Group has vast experience in handling every type of consignment and load combination, offering a single or multi-drop option to and from any location.

The service is backed by efficient vehicle planning, through our dedicated Traffic Desk, and monitored through the latest communication systems to ensure accurate tracking of vehicles and to maintain time-sensitive delivery schedules.

Each vehicle is specified with curtain sides, tail lifts or mounted moffats.

Contract Distribution

Bond is able to offer the busy contractor or manufacturers a complete outsource service for their distribution needs. Dependant on the duration of the contract, and the specific requirements of the transported goods, Bond will either assign existing vehicles from the transport fleet, or provide trucks especially for the contract. In some cases, these can be provided in customer's livery.

A further service available from Bond, is the site installation service, this consists of:

• Attending site
• Unpacking of equipment
• Pacing in situ
• Assembly

Each vehicle is dispatched with appropriate product moving equipment including ramps, scoots & stair walkers where required.

In conjunction to installation of equipment, we are also able to provide electrical, control, cabling & hard pipe installations as well as many other disciplines to make our service as comprehensive as our clients require.

Bond operates 4 RDC branch sites within the UK, Sheerness, Swindon, Stoke & Falkirk.
