Value & Benefits
5 Value reasons for opting for a Refurbishment Programme instead of a new programme
Cost Savings
Using a refurbished product which is directly comparable to new cabinets, shows on average savings between 20-40% (dependant on the type of cabinets).
On site refurbishment allows the customer to continue trading whilst a store re-fit is in progress limiting lost revenue. The customer during the course also has the option to fit energy saving fans.
In addition any on site refurbishment activity also reduces transportation costs which in provides a more green solution to re-using expensive refrigerated assets.
Green Credentials
The Bond Group for over 30 years has refubished/re-manufactured commercial refrigeration. This has provided major multiple retialers with extended life cycles on refrigerated cabinets meaning less have been disposed off into landfill sites.
Looking into the future the art of refurbishment/re-manufacturing all types of equipment is increasing because of the flexibility, reduced cost and companies seeking to portray green outlook and not a throw away culture.
Energy Saving Devices
Refurbishment offers an opportunity to introduce energy saving devices to older cabinets without a huge capital outlay for purchasing new cabinets with such devices. For example the introduction of electric night blinds which shut each night on a timer, can reduce energy by upto 50%.
Other options include LED technology, which again reduces operating costs but in turn last upto 10 times longer in comparison to some standard tubes.
Phased Programmes
The Bond Group has its own project management team experienced in delivering large scale projects specifically for any type of retail/FMCG customer.
This project management team can attend site to offer the best solution for phasing works outside of trading hours to minimize store interuptions.
Lead Times
The Bond Group recognises that retail markets are fast moving and therefore offers responsive lead times to assist speedy re-fits. This is assisted by being a UK manufacturer meaning no lengthy lead times from the EU or beyond.
The Bond Group also continiously improves it's own processes to find more efficient ways of producing its products and services in a timely fashion, but not at the expense of quality.
