Environmental Policy Statement

The Bond Group is committed to the principles and practices of environmental responsibility through:

• ensuring awareness of environmental issues by all staff in all departments & in all Bond Group locations throughout Europe
• continuing development of expertise in environmental disciplines so providing research, consultancy, technology transfer, knowledge transfer and specialist education in the environmental area
• promoting practices consistent with environmental protection, both within and outside the company
• minimising the negative impact of the company on the environment, by a programme of continual improvement in environmental performance
• implementing this policy through a comprehensive plan with measurable goals and with monitoring and analysis of performance against the plan

The Mission of The Bond Group centres on promoting learning, research and training, through partnerships between staff, industry and the community. Inherent within this is a commitment to awareness of the effects of the company, and of human activity in general, on the environment. Hence Bond intends not only to be a leader in environmental development within the refrigeration industry but also to lead in addressing environmental issues, in ensuring that staff are fully aware of these issues and contribute to their resolution and in instilling environmental responsibility as an intrinsic feature of all its practices and procedures.

The Bond Group has already given a commitment to environmental responsibility and to working towards a 'green' business, within its current Policy on Safety, Health and the Environment (implemented from June 1993). This more substantive statement of intent on environmental policy seeks to provide a more comprehensive framework for The Bond Group to further realise its commitment.
